Outside the U.My husband invited me to spend a few days at a place in Scotts Valley named Multiversity. A place where, asides from meditation and self-awareness, you learn and grow to be a better, more compassionate and mindful human being while surrounded by nature.

It incorporated lectures, music, meditation, hikes, community cooking, farm to table eating experiences, yoga, Pilates and much more! The environment was very inviting; many of our group guests had similar intentions; to set time asides for reflection, mindfulness and relaxation.

Among my favorite spots, I could list the cathedral, the sanctuary, and of course, the trails. Loved the infinity hot tub, perched in the middle of a Redwood Bed, overlooking at a perfect collage of greens, browns, reds and enhanced with lighting, purposefully designed to invite and capture all your senses. Thank You to the founders, for providing the canvas for such colorful and meaningful experience; for being able to create a perfect balance for mindfulness while keeping nature undisturbed. While many may have the means, not all have the power and intention to bring such gift to others…Well done! I was there for a conference that was perfectly planned around all what the place has to offer.

Beautiful construction, it was built with plenty of resources. Comfortable, great food and ambience. Beautiful setting among the redwoods. I was very surprised at the quality of the meals. The facility Shuttles with helpful bellman carry those with mobility issues and when it rained. Difficult to book - some of the reservation staff are extremely unhelpful and not well informed regarding the rooms. Check-in was chaotic, disorganized mess.
